Heart Internet SMTP settings?

Please can someone share their working Heart Internet SMTP settings?

Heart publish two or three SMTPs to use:

Outgoing Mail Server: mta.extendcp.co.uk
Outgoing Mail Server Port: 587

Outgoing Mail Server: maiI.mydomainname.co.uk
Authorised with email and password
Outgoing Mail Server Port: 587

Outgoing Mail Server: mail50.extendcp.co.uk (as appropriate)
Outgoing Mail Server Port: 587

We have been using maiI.mydomainname.co.uk but are now getting email non delivery and this warning on the contact us form:

Error returned from SMTP server (1:535 Incorrect authentication data)

Struggling a bit here - please has anyone any advice?

I put a test site up on the same server and reverted to 'localhost' as the SMTP server and got this message on form submission:

Error returned from SMTP server (3: Temporary local problem - please try later)

Have you tried using port 465? Unlikely but you just never know

This is v2016 so you're having to edit one of the Perl scripts (if I recall). Have you edited the script on the server to make sure it is uploading correctly. There are 2 scripts that need updating - the "live" script and the one for the network test.

Thank you Andy. It's Actinic.pm and TestSettings.pm for the port number.

In fact Heart auto expires passwords which I had forgotten and the client didn't realise! Once I reset the email password in the Heart Extend dialogue all was well (laughing face emoji!)
