Connecting to Fasthosts mail server - any ideas?

Client site pointed to my hosting by A record, so the website is with me.

Mail is with Fasthosts

I cannot get Sellerdeck to reach Fasthosts email servers.

I have tried both:
smtp.livemail.co.uk.
or mailserver.domainname.com
port 465 authenticated with username and password
the username is the same email as in business settings.

All I get is in the error.err:

Program = MailForm , Program version = 48695 , HTTP Server = LiteSpeed, Process ID = 383349 , Date and Time = 2019/11/02 11:18 GMT, SendMail: Unable to establish an SMTP connection to smtp.livemail.co.uk
Net::SMTP: 421 [Net::SMTP] Timeout

Net::SMTP: connect: timeout

MX Toolbox says the mail server should be mailserver.xxxxxxxx.co.uk

Has anyone ever made this sort of setup work and how?

Have you tried using Port 587?

Or you could try websmtp.livemail.co.uk as the outbound server
