We are adding some more complicated furniture products to our site and I keep hitting a wall trying to achieve how we want to set them up, as below. Not sure if it can't be done, or if I'm missing something obvious, but would appreciate any help or guidance.
We set up a dummy product for item A, for example an open cupboard, with components and attributes for the sizes, which has say three hidden products linked to the choices, via the permutations tab. Prices come from Sage which populates the hidden products. This all works fine.
We then have another selection where we want to present the options for doors. I can set it up OK with the option to have no doors, or with doors, and the price pulls through OK using the above method. However, there are circumstances where someone might need to add two or maybe three door sets and I can't see how to allow the customer to choose the quantity?
Any ideas or advice welcome please.
