IONOS Network Settings

Has anyone got Sellerdeck working with IONOS recently? Have you example network settings?
I have got a basic Web Hosting Essential to experiment and cannot connect to ftp with Sellerdeck - FTP is OK

An FTP error occurred: -
Request: ->Opening connection to access123456789.webspace-data.io on port 22

Error: Connected, but failed to receive greeting from FTP server.

An FTP error occurred: -
Request: ->Opening connection to access123456789.webspace-data.io on port 990

Error: Connect Rejected (or failed for some other reason)

An FTP error occurred: -
Request: ->Opening connection to access123456789.webspace-data.io on port 21

Error: login failure.

Will it just not work?

Works fine for me.

I don't think secure ftp works the way Sellerdeck has done it.

ftp port should be 21.

All the setting are on the forum already.

I use Ionos for all my demo sites and I just ran a network test on a V18 site and it worked OK. Using plain unencrypted FTP.

Neither of these work for me when used as a basis with my own settings I am afraid.

A key difference is the Host.
For Norman and Mike it is home123456789.1and1-data.host
For me it is access123456789.webspace-data.io

The IONOS setup only allows SFTP and their settings are:
Server: access123456789.webspace-data.io
Protocol: SFTP
Port: 22

My understanding is that Sellerdeck does not work with SFTP - only FTPS which IONOS say is for Windows servers. Mine is Linux.

IONOS do these levels of hosting: Essential, Business, Pro, Expert, Partner Business and Partner Expert.

I went for Essential - is that too basic?

Hi Jonathan,

I can't think why mine works and yours doesn't. I more or less use the settings in the ionos ftp account and haven't had to touch them for years.

The odd thing is that the ftp account says I'm using sftp and port 22 but that's not what my sellerdeck setup says.

The bottom line from this thread where we discussed it before is to use the settings from ionos, but set port 21 in sellerdeck and leave the secure ftp box unticked.
