Page Preview Disabled by Antivirus software

Hi, Yesterday, I had a website that stopped being viewed by my Avast antivirus software, and this morning, I can't even view the page preview in the Sellerdeck program as it says it is infected.
    Has anyone else got this?
    Thanks.

That is odd, have you raised it with support?

A quick search shows false positives are quite common with Avast and this type of file, maybe worth speaking to Avast.

      Have a look here - https://malwaretips.com/blogs/remove...f-susp-trojan/

I would Definitely download Malaware Bytes - https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download - and run the free scan. MBM is extremely good. Hopefully it should remove this possible Trojan

        Thanks Jonathan,
I have had to disable the antivirus to carry on for now and I have submitted a false positive review.
I will be going through the checking and removal steps shortly to see if it is present.
I downloaded Malwarebytes, and it found some Restoro Hkeys that had been quarantined. However, Avast is not happy, so I quarantined the p_index.html file and then went into the quarantined folder to restore it and add an exemption for now.

Good morning, I have the same issue with AVG and has just started this morning - very interested if anyone has a solution?

            Best wishes

Mine was ok this morning (AVG) but that's concerning, sounds like a possible vulnerability in sellerdeck?

Does this render sd unusable or is there just the warning?

              What versions are you both?
              I'm 18.12

              Who are you hosted with?
              I'm with Sellerdeck

You cannot say that. Malawarebytes scans will show any real threats. Those of us not using Avast/AVG do not seem to be having any issues.

Ive scanned my PC and all files and there are no issues found - the script-inf [Susp] is found on every html SD page and this flag is being raised on every product page according to AVG. Not sure what the solution is?

Are you still able to use the sellerdeck software?

Thanks that's worrying, have you tried reporting this to AVG?

From.what I've read this has happened before with this file type with Avast and AVG users and often the antivirus will update and resolve itself, have you tried updating virus definitions?

If you are confident it isn't a threat you could try this.
                            • Change allowed features
Go to the Blocked & Allowed apps settings screen and click the three dots next to Options. Select Change allowed features and tick or untick the AVG features you want to allow access for.

This will always remain the best community - an update to the virus definitions seems to have resolved.

                              Thank you
