I have the same error which support are looking at. Unfortunateley
<actinic:variable name="ProductDescriptionLength" /> > 0 does not seem to make it go away. Phil

This issue is not listed in the 18.0.1 change list .

We've been investigating this for a fix in v18.0.2. But the scenario which first triggered the error for me is no longer doing so, and looks like a red herring. At the moment we don't really know the cause. It certainly is not the condition itself, which is perfectly valid and causes no issue for the majority of sites.

Has anyone here raised a support ticket and sent a support snapshot of a site that experiences the error? That would help us to diagnose the actual underlying cause.

We had the same issue on our site. I tracked it down to only being products that used [LINK]'s. Applying Jonathan's layout tweak fixed it for us. Thanks Jonathan!
