Email us problems

On our website, when you try to email through the online contact form, the emails dont actually get to us, even though we filled everything out on the software with our hotmail adress and everything

Check what you have in the menu Business Settings -> Company/Contact.

Then read this from the in-built help section Business Settings - Entering Your Company Details:

Email Address
The Email Address field is for the address that you wish to be used when customers click on the 'Send Mail' icon at your web site and when a new order is placed since the last download (providing you have checked the Email Required On New Order option in the Orders panel). The field must include @ and at least one full stop.

I have followed every step, I have our adress written in with the YOURNAME@YOURNAME.COM format

Who is your host?

I see it's Iomart. Maybe check with them if there's something amiss.

You probably need an on-domain address in Business Settings / Company/Contact like sales@cassellie.net

Having a hotmail one in there is likely to be banned by your hosting provider.
