Hi all
I am writing this post as i couldnt find any report of my issue, anywhere!
Hope this helps someone else........
I am running V10.4 on a vista machine with epos & epos link.
I was in the process of importing a flat file csv containing new products into actinic when an error message came up 'unexpected error please check your settings'
then another saying 'no products have been updated or added'.
This kept happening and I couldn't find an answer anywhere.
I have another test PC running v10.4 with windows 7 and this machine imported fine?
Cutting a very long story short and hopefully helping others save time fault finding......
Actinic support couldn't recreate the problem and said the only difference was their machine wasn’t running epos link.
The answer to this flat file import issue seems to be by turning off the epos link server it allows actinic to populate the imported products without errors.
All tests so far point to this. Hopefully problem solved.
Jamie.
