all orders going to pending payment service provider
I have been told by Sellerdeck support that a recent 'Perl' update is causing all orders to go to 'Pending Payment Service Provider'.
Sellerdeck support told me that I should noitfy my hosts (namesco).
This their reply;
I'm not so sure the problem you're experiencing is related to the specific Perl module your contact has mentioned. It is claimed that we have version 0.60 of Crypt::SSLeay 0.6 installed but the actual version we have installed is 0.5.
You're quite right that there is an update available for this module but we tend not to stay 'cutting edge' in things like this - purely because this is a shared hosting cluster and any software update we perform could affect thousands of websites so we have to undertake extensive testing phases before we deploy anything.
I would not anticipate an update to this module being installed for several months at least but, as I mentioned earlier, it may that that is not the problem anyway.
