v8 Showcase / Example Sites

Anybody sharing their URLS for v8 Beta Sites ?? I'd love to see some examples of what people are able to do with the current version.

The spec for v8 looks superb - would be great to see some examples though, even if they are only 'working prototypes' !

Maybe list these and publish as a sticky ?

John, until we get the release product, there is not a lot of sense in publishing anything.

One unfortunate consequence of a BETA can be that to solve an identified problem, a feature has to be removed - when the code added to provide this feature turns out to be the cause of the problem elsewhere.

Several people are developing sites and at least one member is developing templates, but these are likely to be more for learning and practice than finished articles.

Now if the final release comes today, and there has been no change in feature set or functionality as a result of the BETA then those folks can publish and have the jump on the overcautious people like me.

You can take a look at the v8 Advanced User Guide for some examples of clever changes with v8 such as creating additional pop-up windows, automatically creating further information pages, and some PHP to automatically resize images and insert a third currency.

looks great, I really like the colour scheme. Have you got your ingredients listed in the right order because if you have it looks like you have more sugar that flour in the pudding. Also it appears to be vegetarian from looking at the ingredients, so it might be worth saying that, lots of pudding of that nature have suet in them.

I want one .... now :-)

Just spent a few hours re designing the site using v8.
Much easier than the previous version 6 I was using.
