        Great Idea

        Just a pity they dont do, say 5kg mixed boxes (you select the goods) and deliver country wide by courier. I would not pay for say spuds, but could be tempted by other organic bits and bobs. Same with good meat products

            WOW!!!! This is such a nnniiiiiiicccccceeeeeee site!!! I'm currently evaluating v8 and am a newbie - I had no idea that you could do this with version8!!! Did you have to do any special programming or is it all developed just using actinic? Wow!!! How did you get the tabs across the top - they're not on any of the themes I've come across? Nice site Lee!!!!

                  This is my site it went live in october if I remember rightly. I have no programming experience and only a bit of self taught web design. It took a long time to build but I am very happy with the result.

                    I like the site but may i reommend that you edit the search box and change the text colour, its a bit hard to read

                    cheers

                      Hi Darren,

                      Thanks for taking a look at the site. You are right about the text colour in the search box. I took a look around actinic but to be honest I have little idea how to change this text colour in the box.

                      I need to only change this colour and leave the other text colours as they are. Could you give me an idea how to do this or point me in the right direction please.

                      Thanks

                        Leigh,

                        You could create a new css class to do this but if you are not comfortable with that then just remove:-

                        class="actxxsmall"

                        from the line:-

                        <input name="SS" size="15" value="Quick Search" onFocus="this.value='';" class="actxxsmall" type="text">

                        in your Quick Search layout.
                        Cheers

                                Just re-done our first site from 2003 www.boxes4babies.com which wasn't getting many orders, but since re-doing it on V8 Google seems to like it better than the last design and I'm know getting about 110 clicks a day and about 6 orders a day.

                                We re-done all the photos again at home after spending about £700 on a new digital SLR camera and lighting equipment. Old photos can be seen on www.abcbabygifts.co.uk (about 250 clicks aday) and new photos on the new design V8 site www.boxes4babies.com.

                                Anyway all the hard work has paid off because customer visits are up and so are sales.
                                Regards,
