What we are trying to say is the software persay works. No-one else has the same problem , therefore we assume the issue lies with your PC and not with the software.
Why not uninstall the software, download the lastest version and re-install
Dont want to stick my nose in - but couldnt help pointing this one out.
A similar problem thread was running only a couple of days ago.
I have replied on the other thread, however if you can test this out please:
Close Actinic
Delete the contents of the folder PreviewHTML.
Open Actinic and check preview is blank.
Use Internet explorer to try to open PreviewHTML\P_index.html, note if the
page displays correctly or not.
Send the contents of the PreviewHTML folder to support.
Send a snapshot to support
No one else has the same problem so it's unlikely to be the software. As Norman mentioned above, can you try installing and trying on another computer?
Also can you give some more specifics:
What release version (v802_GJUA_UK?) are your evaluating?
Which of the five evaluation versions are you trying out?
(Merchant - Catalog or Business, or Web Designer - Catalog Client, Business Client or Designer)
What do you mean exactly by the Design tab doesn't work?
Do you have internet explorer installed on your computer, and if so what version?
I'm having EXACTLY the same problem as ::Hashim::, when I click on the "Design" tab it is completely blank! It's NOT just a problem with his computer. I've also tried it on another computer with the same outcome!
There's obviosuly a problem here, which seems to be impacting a number of people (but a very small proportion of overall users). Apologies to those effected.
We're asking for various details from the people experiencing the problem to try and track the issue down. We haven't as yet been able to reproduce it in-house. Once we have reproduced it, we should be able to solve it, so your help is appreciated.

Hi there, Just to say we are still looking into this problem. We have developed a special build, which I have emailed certain members who are getting this problem. If they can email me the results, We should be able to pinpoint what has happened.
Not yet, as the members who I have emailed it to, have not replied. Please could you send an email to communityadmin [@] actinic.co.uk and I will email you what I had sent to them. We are looking for more information to see whats happening.
After reviewing a couple of "CatalogTrace.txt" file, we may have found something. Please could people who have this problem do the following:
1. Close Actinic
2. Go into "Start | Run" and type in "Regedit.exe" to go into the registry
3. Go to the following location "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Actinic\Catalog8\Original\InstallRoot"
4. On the right hand side, you will see Default and the location of where the program should be located. Some of you have put in a lower case "c:", please could you change it to an upper case "C:", therefore it should be like "C:\Program Files\Actinic v8"
