We have now come to the end of our trial period of Actinic V8.
At this moment in time I am not convinced it's doing the job.
We are not even trying to do anything special, just a very simple web shop using builtin and default settings.
Some of the basic errors:
*On Update of the website pages are not being updated, so far the only way I can cure this is by doing a refresh website.
*For some bizarre reason there are still links to the Actinic trial site on the website e.g On the home page the links to login and products point to the Actinic trial site.
*https not working (https not even selected on payment and security).
*When on the more_info page clicking on the products link gives this address:
https://burns.writemedia.co.uk/cgi-b...talogbody.html which then gives a 404 error as do a load of others.
If anyone wants to have a look at the site it's at:
http://burns.writemedia.co.uk/index.html
There are 4 days of the traial left and if these basic issues are not sorted then Actinic goes in the bin. It's just not doing what it says on the tin.
