do you have a cgu-bin on the server?

404 means it can't be found.

    whats the url?

      hi

yes there is a cgi-bin on the server and all the scripts are in it, the url is www.void-clothing.co.uk or it will be when the site is up!

The cgi-bin does not seem to be in the same webspace.

Is this a Windows server? Who are the hosts? Have you tried a search on the hostname to see if working settings have been posted?

If you can't find previous info on your hostname, try posting your settings here [after removing passwords] and we can try to help.

if you hover over links which should be in the cgi-bin ie view basket you get

thus I would suggest the network settings are incorrect as the scripts are not in the cgi-bin

Please export your network settings to txt file and post them here (remove passwords etc)

now it says unable to move to the cgi-bin directory on the ftp server. Does bnot exist or you do not have access to the directory.
we know it exists so what next?

I does not exist in the right place. Can you see a cgi-bin when you connect using ftp?

Should the cgi-bin be in the WWW folder?

You really need to know whether or not this is a windows server - this page http://web.emnet.co.uk/hosting/vds_business.asp will help you decide. If you scroll to the bottom of the package specs, you will see the pricing.

If you confirm Linux or Windows, then getting you setup will be easier.
