Sorry Jo, thought it had something to do with you i miss read the post busy rushing for my sunday lunch.

I did not see you on the web cam though. Thought i was going to see a great amataur dramtics production in full swing. I actually only caught site of a couple of vans blocking the view

Actinic express, i have not looked at the software but thought it had some similarities.

Can't be bothered with boarding, as its means standing up. Chilled out extreme nutter...
I can not believe you are that chilled out though, tell me honestly you have never tried a board? not even once just for the laugh

    Cheers
    Darren

Can you not just export a flat file from V7 delete all fields in Excel except "reference & stock in hand" then import this into V8 as a CSV.
I know it works in V7 and just takes a few minutes, can't tell about V8 as I'm keeping well clear of it, for obvious reasons,

You should have swung it around until you were viewing the coffee bar :-)

          Thanks John

I have added a few new products so this might give me a couple of problems, i have actually been through and done most of it manually having both versions open and using alt tab to flick between the 2.

Hi Jan, you mean Jo was serious about being huddled up drinking coffee then, with this and being laid back i am getting concerned that she's not the extreme person i thought she was?

          Cheers

Huh.... we did get the kites up but the rain kept coming and going, as did the wind.

Could have been good though as the tide was in, so we had to set up on the grass which was very wet, thus no traction what so ever. We could have been scudding with a handkercheif if there has been a decent breath of wind. The buggy would have produced some extreme skids too.

And no, it was Jan with the flask. I went home with very wet kites and waterproofs. Thank the Lord for waterproof socks and Berghaus!!

              Morning Jo

So it was Jan hiding from the rain then? not the impression she gave?

I find if you want to do scudding on the grass an old carrier bag works well in the wet or a pair of well worn trainers, found this out by accident - nearly ended up at the bottom of the north downs on a windy day. Mind you we were being a bit stupid we knew it was too windy yet still got the 4M out, took three of us across the field. But hey thats what us stupid blokes do, glad i was not on the board probably would have ended up in France.

I must admit i have not managed to get out much myself with this weather have decided to take some time off in the afternoons and go when the weather is good rather than plan it.

              Cheers
