Hi all

Since moving to V8 my error file keeps filling up with errors when someone places an order. The order it's self processes without problems but i wondered if someone could point me in the right direction

The error is as follows

Program = ORDERSCR, Program version = 507 , HTTP Server = Apache/1.3.37 (Unix) PHP/4.4.4, Return code = 999 , Date and Time = 2006/10/28 03:29, Internal Errors = Mallformed XML cart template (missing AlsoBoughtLine)

Does anyone have any ideas or are they experiencing the same.

Hi there

The error means Actinic cannot find those htmls within the Cart layout. The way to fix this, would be to go to "Design | Library | Layouts". Here click on the "+" next to "Shopping Cart Table", then highlight "View Cart Page Shopping Cart Grid". Right click on it, and you can select an option for "Compare with Factory Settings". This will tell you what is missing for the above error, otherwise you can alway revert back to the original file which will fix this issue

I will take a look later, i presume this comes from the reciept page? as this is the only one i modified in V7 if not then this would be another standard layout V8 did not upgrade properly.

OK i have reverted the Order01, 02 & 03 back to the factory defaults and am still getting the error messages

I did put my customisation back into 01 but this is only a postcode anywhere button.

Any other ideas

The same cart layout is used on the view cart and the checkout pages (but several bits are hidden during checkout). According to the error messages you got I assume you have customised the cart layout and some bits were removed. These bits are expected by the scripts but they are not fatal errors therefore the report goes to error.err.
I would try to compare the cart layout with the default one and restore the missing bits.

Please tell me which layouts could be at fault as i said i have already reverted Order01, 02 & 03 back to the factory default. And the edit 01 is to add a postcode anywhere button not remove stuff

Have you also tried to revert Order00 as well? If so, then you may want to raise a support request regarding this. They would need to get your snapshot of the site.

No I did not think this would have anything to do with the ordering. as it is a few pages earlier than the actual order confirmation.

I will try this one later, also is there any others that could also effect it.

Try reverting the following layouts in the library...

Shopping Cart Table > View Cart Page Shopping Cart Grid
Shopping Cart Table > Checkout Shopping Cart Grid

I think that should do it.

I think a support technician would have to look at your snapshot to figure out what the layout is that's causing the problem. You can register an email support request at http://www.actinic.co.uk/support/register.htm

Make sure you point the technician to this thread so that they don't go over these steps again.
