    Hi

It looks like thumbnail images will have to be used to get this working . NETQUOTEVAR:THUMBNAIL(yes this will work in V8 too) can be used in the also bought layout. But it will only display the product thumbnail image not the main product image.

The following code will work <img src="NETQUOTEVAR:THUMBNAIL"> . Hope this helps.

    Kind Regards

      Hi Kiran

thanks for the reply, but we were hoping to show Product Images in the also bought lists. with over 4500 products its not really an option to make thumbnails for them all, then enter those images into actinic one at a time

if its possible to show the product name in this list, it seems as though it shouldnt be impossible to show the Product Image as well no?

this was the only reason we upgraded to V8, it turned out to be months of aggro for just a text link in the also bought list which hasnt really made any noticeable difference to sales

V8.52 looks as though its fixed a lot of our problems though so thanks you guys for that!

now if we can oonly show product images in the also bought lists then we will have a nice site!!

show Product Images in the also bought lists
This is very easy to do by replacing the variable with the code for the mini also bought layout. You can then resize the image as required using the auto resize.

I have posted this info before - there was also dicussion recently about how to get a buy button on there as well.

If you are considering using the also bought list in checkout I would advise against it as it can be a reason for abandoned checkouts ie people are at the point of purchase and you send them back into the shop. I like to keep checkout clear of all distractions - if they want to pay let them do it.
