    Shipping Charges Not Added...

    When purchasing a product the shipping charge isn't being added.

    "Shipping Charges Made" is checked and set at simple '£2.99' in: Settings | Business Settings

    Anyone know why this might be, is there a template / variable which I could revert to factory settings to solve this?

          Hi,

          I don't know why this is happening as it should work with the setup provided. What do you have setup for Tax? Can you provide a link to the site so that we can check please?

            Hey yeh the website is,

            tax is set at 17.5%, didn't realise this until now because that's not being added either

              Yep, shipping and VAT are not being charged on the site. I would suggest raising a support ticket @ http://www.actinic.co.uk/support/register.htm and refer this thread in the request.

              Before you do that, can you go into 'Housekeeping | Compact databases' select both options and proceed. This will close down Actinic. Reopen and then go to 'Help | Troubleshooting' and select 'Web Site Purge and Refresh'.

              If this does not sort the issue then please raise the support ticket. They may need to take a look at a snapshot of the site to determine the cause of the issue.

                  Dave,

                  Have you tried compacting your databases, both catalog and shipping and then refresh your site. Let us know if it is still happening.

                    Thanks for the quick reply.

                    The problem has only arisen since I upgraded to version 8.5 earlier today. I haven't as yet uploaded the site as I noticed it when testing the upgrade with an offline order.

                      Have compacted and refreshed but still the same. I have worked round it by setting the standard shipping charge.
