    Is this still the case?

If it is NOT allowing posts to the cgi bin, your path is correct but your permissions are not as Lee states.

I think the permissions are wrong too, but what can you do if someone says they are not.

Have you seen this with your own eyes or is this what they are telling you?

I host my site on a Linux server with Fasthosts. Do you think it would be worth me putting up my Actinic Network setting up here......it might help?

                  Just a thought

they are identical to mine with the obvious changes, why wont the scripts execute properly in the cgi-bin tho?

                          Michael

I can see 3 distinct differences between the settings you provided and his. If his are working and he is on the same package as you, it would seem sensible to get yours identical to start off with. Once they are identical and still failing, other areas can then be investigated.

i have now matched my setting so they mirror those of the working linux fasthosts server, im still geting the "scripts are not executing properly on the remote server"

Try changing the script number to a number different to what it is currently

ive fixed it, i must apologise as it was the directory permissions that were playing up my fault for not checking properly

Next step is the Actinic SSL, is this easy to install?
