I hold my hands up, i am probably guilty as charged in to these, however i do always try to add meaning full comments, although i may not have read the post properly and given completely the wrong answer.

I thought the free running at the start was pretty spectacular - I think it's a film better watched at the pictures though rather than at home on the telly, I enjoyed it.

so is there room for humour and social chit-chat on the boards

Posts will only ever be edited if they break the rules of the forum (explicitly commercial, potentially slanderous etc.) and we have a policy now of always getting permission from the relevant people before editing.

With regards to banter - I would definitely echo the statements here - please try to resist making humorous comments about a post until after the post has had a resolution - but feel free to use 'Any Other Business' as your playground

firstly w00tage for me getting an honorable title mention.

I think I'm guilty for a lot of the things mentioned here, making smartass comments and general tomfoolery.

but my reason is that this isnt the only board that i post on. and its not the only community that i frequent. other forums, for me, are programming and gaming forums. These other places, are, and dare i say it.... younger. and many things, for instance, my excessive usage of the term w00t is just part of the learning curve.

So, forgive me if i insult, but not everyone knows the rules, a lot of first time posters have no idea that to do and dont read the rules, and I think, to be slammed here for having a little fun is a little bit like my mother telling me to turn down the metal music and get a haircut.

However, there are always rules for communities. and I think this is actually a very well behaved one. For example, you don't get script kiddies deleting your SQL database every week because you banned their brother because he dissed 'Magic the Gathering'.

I feel that the joviality/seriousness level is very good here.
