"Qbooks link does not put the name or address from the Actinic order ?? "
No. The customer is given a generic name.
"and it can not put the products in unless they are the same name ???"
It can bring in any product name - there are options to allow QB Link to ignore errors and import products when there is NOT a match in the translation table. But I would not advise this if you are using stock control in QB; it creates a new SERVICE (odd that!) in QB when there is no match and so you end up with hundreds of meaningless orphan items.
You need to create a translation table to match products in QB to products in Actinic. This is unfortunately presently limited to a one-to-one relationship. So if you sell in Actinic using product variations you need the same variations in QB which is not terribly efficient.
What use is this ! we are takeing 30+ orders a day and have to print the order off and then manual input it in to quick books
I take a similar number of orders each day and QB Link does save me time. But you do still have to manually edit each order unless you are happy with a generic "Internet Customer". It could be better.
Question for Actinic: some items were added to the 'wish list' (if I recall these included the ability to import the customer details, and to allow a one to many relationship in the products). Were these implemented in Actinic release 9?
Cheers!
