Help, I have been trying for 3 weeks to get my head round importing my products from a spreadsheet. My latest attempt has taken all the other examples off.! Can anyone out there give me a shove in the right direction? I have Just bought Actinic 8, but am tearing my hair out.

So far I havve followed every step in the help files and the @getting Started@ book, Tried to import a few items to see what happened, but managed to wipe out the original items! Read and Re-read every related forum item, but I think I am too inexperienced to understand it all. Kathy

If you're doing File -> Import -> Flat File Import then make sure you have the radio button for Update selected rather than Replace - this will keep all your existing products there and just add new ones - or if you have items that have the same Product Reference it will update them with any updated details.

I take it you are importing a flat file?
How many lines you trying to put in out of interest?
May be quicker for you to add a few by hand directly and then export the file to see how it is done?
Just a thought.Affordable solutions for busy professionals.
