Previewing back to `where you were`

Just noticed a subtle difference in the code on your site.

The anchor on your site is creating a link likey so:-

<a name="a1463"><b>Samoa Badge (FA)</b></a>

however it should look like this:-

<a name="a1463"><a/><b>Samoa Badge (FA)</b>

I am assuming the anchor hasn't been closed in the correct place within Actinic, make sure you have the </a> straight after <a name="<Actinic:Variable Name="EncodedProductAnchor"/>">. You will need to move the closing tag that is presumably after the product description in the layout.

Perhaps this is confusing the display in Actinic and making it think there actually is no anchor.

funny you should mention that, David, because that "error" just cropped up in another thread and I'm in the process of an upload where I *think* I have located and changed most, if not all of them (all in upgraded layouts)

will be testing this as soon as the upload finishes.

Yep looks like the same issue. Did your internal display jump to the correct product if you clicked on it in the content tree?

changed my <a> tag to surround the EncodedProductAnchor only (it was originally around the ProductName too) but it still doesn't direct to the product, online OR offline.

annoying thing is...like G, mine used to too!

I have uploaded it but I might have missed a few layouts. I have to admit I am using far too many of them (on my to-do list to downsize as I only really use 3 different visual layouts but I have more than that in use, I think. I know what I mean lol)

I clicked on 'Organised Mum Family Organiser' from the home page, that looks like it needs changed. Although the 'New bandO Maternity Band' looks ok to me. Interestingly enough though, both layouts do seem to jump to the right product for me, both in IE and Firefox!

ok..I've been through ALL my layouts and "fixed" the product anchor tag now..upload in progress

Well, if I click on the Mothercare Maternity Twin Pack from the home page, the page it links to jumps down to the correct product, instead of just sitting at the top.

ok..as it should do..but it was doing that anyway from those links.
so, yes, the product anchors themselves do work (however they were formatted in the layout, as it happens)

but, it doesn't bounce back from the cart like that (after pressing "confirm") and it doesn't do it in the preview pane offline either.

in the preview pane (content tab) it appears to jump to the highlighted product but then jumps straight back to the top of the page again. It does the same if I'm clicking through the content tree in the design tab too.

What frustrates me most is that it doesn't "return the product" after adding to the cart and I'm SURE it used to
