All is back to normal here on Walton's mountain. BUT i would love the solve the mystery why some people can delete posts and others cannot. I have always thought it is just people being stupid or blind, too many people say it though for that to be true - i hope!

I love the grass effect but if you are going to soften the edges, i think it needs to be done throughout. Looks unfinished to my eyes. Because it looks so good, use it more IMO.

The moving sky in the flash thingy needs to either match in with the background or stretch over to the cart summary so that the transition cannot be seen. I like the idea, but on 2 of my 3 monitors it doesn't match and stands out like a sore thumb. It should be very easy to get that background the same as the flash, just print screen and color sample it.

Hover state on the section links would be better in the same hover color as the navbar to my eyes, just that tiny bit too light. Alternatively just crank up the shade of green a little just on the hovers as solitary links always look lighter than banks of color, so will stay on theme easily.

Thanks Lee, Funny i have not really noticed the colours to much, but on normal moniters not flat screens it seems to show more, as for changing the colours, not a problem, just need to find them

Increasing the use of the grass effect, theres an idea, i see what you mean though, could take me a while to work that out but the worst bit is done so a tweaking here i come.

jo i can delete posts but not threads, even if i start them, i think its something to do with being a developer, maybe Mr D can look at the settings

#a0c8e6 is the blue you want.

The picture with the dude on the skateboard needs to be a slideshow for this kind of site IMO, create some impact and have some different pictures slowly transitioning. I'm not always a fan of moving things, but in this marketplace i think it is perfectly fine, it adds to the site and doesn't take away.

It's a product range to catch your attention, so get wowing people i say.

Love the look, got a good future ahead of it.

ho hum i was going to comment on that too, but decided it was too picky. It doesn't look too bad on my dell monitor but does look pretty naff on the laptop

Hmmm. That free the fields bit, wonder if it would be better with the logo and just the first couple of sentences and a click to read more link? Either a new page, or opening rest underneath if clicked? Just seems like a lot of text (as it is)?

If its important to you then maybe give them a wee box in the left col under the section lists.

G done the free the fields bit that was easy, Lee / Jo messed with the colours and messed it up, the header image is shaded so i need to do this a different way, also that colour came up a little dark aswell, messing with images aint to clever over a remote connection, going to do it on the laptop later then send the image over

Its a gradient Darren, you specify the starting colour and the ending colour and the rest is then done for you in PS for example. It will be a repeating background i would imagine. You take a little slice of it and then repeat it along the x axis.
