    Print error

    Hi all,

I've recently starting getting this error if I try and print a Data Entry, Packaging List or Invoice via Actinic. It's never happened before, can anyone help.

    Error in File C:\Program Files\Actinic v8\DataEntry.rpt:
Page header or footer longer than a page.
    Regards,

    Les

    Hi Les,

I've never seen that actual error before, do you have a custom report?

Can you try the instructions in this knowledgebase article and see if that helps.

I've just tried that fix but am still getting

        Error in File C:\Program Files\Actinic v9\Invoices.rpt:
        No default printer.
        Any ideas?

        Other sites are fine

Scrub that, can't print from any of the sites now

            Try this:
            1. Close Actinic
            2. Delete the reg key as per the referenced post.
            3. Change the default printer to another one and print a test page (a pdf printer will work as well if you only have one printer).
            4. Change the printer back to the one you want, and again print a test page.
            5. Open Actinic and, with your fingers crossed, try and print something.

Duncan that's exactly what I'm doing now

Edit - I've deleted each site's printer settings, deleted the printer, restarted windows and am crossing my fingers.

And that appears to have done the trick, thanks

And it's back worse than anything now

Was working fine then an hour later nothing, can't print from any other app either. Have deleted/added printer/restarted/deleted keys and I'm just getting

You do not have permission to use the selected printer. If you need access, contact your system administrator
It is an admin account though

And about 5 hrs on is working again, have come to the conclusion that unless you're printed a page via the Mac first - I'm running Actinic via Parallels - printing in XP will just fall over.
