    Missing Orders via protx

We have had a couple of stange orders go missing over past month

The customer has ordered and paid by Protx, Received notification of order from actinic but timed out at Protx

They have sent us a copy of the actinic confirmation page, but no record can be seen in pending, completed or PPSR

When checking Protx for order it shows up with order number as well as timed out details

In the past we always got the confirmation order after they had picked the payment method and then went to protx so even if the did not complete the order they would show up as a actinic order but just without payment

It looks like something has changed and we dont get the confirmation email or order showing if Protx times out

This isn't an isolated case, I've had a few customers comment on this event happening, i think Olderscot reported the same happening with his PSP too (not protx)

        Thanks Joe

To me it only appears to have been with Failed Payments or at least I hope so, But we use Deffered anyway so should not have to do refunds

Chris, what was the order number on yours? Mine was 10000001 and was clearly out of sequence. Was yours the same?

We've had the same but with 'in sequence' order numbers.

We've also had a customer place an order, protx says "there was an error" but we receive order and payment and ship goods. Next day customer places a second order, another protx error message but we again receive order and send out more goods. Then three days later customer is unhappy as they've now ordered elsewhere, as protx 'failed' and they do not want three orders!!
