tried that & now actinic crashes every time

Hmmm... That's the technique I often use for the start and end JavaScript comments. ( <!-- and //--> ) and it works fine for me.

other programmer was not happy! I decided to experiment using the code from

http://www.tjkdesign.com/articles/keyboard_friendly_dropdown_menu/EK.asp

menu works fine in IE6 until i add into executive theme. it then adds white space to below the menu and does not drop down.
no actinic errors though!!
