the only thing i found wrong with vista is the size of the install

its a huge beast of a thing

but i run 2003 server as desktop far more stable no bloat

but that said vista was "ok" but not for me
i would have no problems buying a system with it on to run actinic

but make sure its a huuugggggeee hard drive and plenty of memory
Remembering the road to Actinic enlightenment is a long and sometimes painful one.

Jont - you must know Bill Gates personally. the rest of us will have to wait.

We run Actinic (not multi-user at this point) on Vista laptops and have had no problems at all recently. I disliked it at first but it has bedded in now. I'm not sure waiting for the next Microsoft OS is realistic for many users. Many people seem to think that Windows 7 (due 2009/2010) will not amount to much more that SP2 for Vista.
