BUG: Design Snapshot Incomplete

Follow up - I've just phoned support, I asked them what the difference is between sending a design snapshot and sending a full snapshot but instructing the client to keep "import content" and "import orders" unchecked.

Their answer?

That the difference is that sending a full snapshot and leaving the options unchecked is... and this is a direct quote... more reliable

This has been a sad area of this software for over 3 years now.

May as well add a Wish List entry for the Design snapshot features to be removed from the software and only allow the full snapshot with options (orders/content). Seems to cause more problems than it's worth

Coincidentally, yet again, another empty-selector-type bug has reportedly been fixed in the 9.0.5 beta. Let's see if it actually works this time.

please please please - can we upload individual design layouts to an online folder with a templating system like Joomla, or wordpress - these could then be downloaded into the software for those that wanted to use them locally within the application

snapshots take bloody ages to send to clients - seems such an old fashioned backward way of doing stuff

I'd like a mixture of v8/v9 system and v7 system taking the best of both - individual layout files that can be uploaded and downloaded to the website both using dreamweaver and actinic and can be edited individually in dreamweaver without lauching Actinic if you choose not to - but are automatically loaded into the library if you want to access them from there within the program

hell - actinic could even build a dreamweaver pluggin that understood the templating system and replicated the library tree in dreamweaver - I know this is possible because there is a joomla dreamweaver plugin that does it.
