I need to clarify something.
The GB and US versions of the DVD actually differ in more than just the format. They have different narrators and the packaging is distinct.
Also, the product pages on the site reflect this. So, for all intents and purposes we do have two products.
Therefore the SEO issues you have mentioned probably don't apply. If it wasn't for the different currencies we would just be using one Actinic site because the home page and other static pages are the same.
Regarding the .co.uk / .com point, the domain is already just a .com.
If anyone is interested, the site as it stands is at www.thetransporters.com, so you can see what I'm on about. The US version is already mentioned throughout but just lacks the links to the product page.
If our friends over the pond didn't mind paying in pounds I wouldn't be having this headache!
