as Jont says copying and pasting between sites is dangerous and can have long term effects on a site which only show down the line.

Copy and paste between sites was supported well in v7 but the ability was not built into v8/9 so I would not advise it tbh for the information of others Reading this thread

I tried this in v9 recently .. running out of time on a Friday to upload new products entered on one site and C&P into another... knew better but thought I would risk it.

        BOOM. Head shot.

Cutting corners in Actinic is not to be recommended

It seems to be fine so far. There were some strange issues with images but these were resolved. Also, some sub-sections were placed inside others! After a few hours of checking and fettling, it all seems OK. The issue was caused because I had added a lot of products at the weekend and failed to snapshot for some reason which is something I always do before, mid-way through and after major works. A reminder for the future.

Hopefully though, I won't have caused any lasting issues.
