Log in fuction in v 9.03

    Hi

I was having a problem in V9 with the log in fuction and after going around and around tech support told me it was a bug, and would be fixed in V9.03.

Well, I have now upgraded and it still isnt working.

Is anybody else having the same trouble?
Has any body got it working?

    thanks
    Steve Indigo

Are we guessing what your problem is, we can't really compare if we do not know what it is?

Cookie Error... You have secured Login with SSL, and it's on shared secure server, so when customer opens login page cookie is created, but once he validates the form, hes being redirected to another site (secure server), and another cookie is being created by that site... Is there a chance for you to use dedicated SSL?

if not, then you have 2 options:
        1. if you are not handling payment details yourself, do not use SSL at all
        2. secure the whole site (less popular option)

Oh dear, this does not sound good.

We need to use the SSL, because of the way we have payments set up (so I have been told)

Securing the whole site sounds.... well, not good.

I am stuck, I dont know what to do next.

          Any ideas.

          thanks

You are downloading card details - this is NOT allowed and you need to be using a psp

I'm not sure what people are saying, but i woudln't use PPP as it is not PCI Compliant, no matter what you do as far as i know. Get a PSP, period, IMO.

Thank for typing it out for me Lee - your checkout is a bit of a mess TBH - lots of secure page warnings.

I have someone who downloads card details to put through there card terminal. They use actinics shared SSL to capture the details. So is this not allowed?
