What are the 'penalties' for duplicate sites you mention?

Also re: business plus - if the wholesale and retail are being managed by seperate individuals - whats best - Client Catalogue? Would be good to keep client costs down...

No SEO expert either, but I made the mistake of uploading a test site to a second domain, then uploaded it to the required domain and forgot to remove the test site...Google loved it, it dropped me like a stone within a week, we went from Page3 to somewhere round Page 5squillian, it took almost a month after removing the test site to come back.
Good job it wans't a customers site!!
