Could buggy Actinic be caused by non Intel processor?

Amongst the various things that fowl up on this possibly 'crufty' pc are:

The 'find' function within Actinic does not work

do you mean the search function ?.
If so, then have a word with your hosting company.
I had a similar problem, and it seemed the search wouldnt work because of a mod security rule, which can be fixed by the hosting company adding a line in the htaccess file.
Dont know what they actually added but it worked !

If you dont mean the search function... sorry :-(
