The snapshots I'm importing are 9.01. I have plenty of backups but no V8 versions. All the backups I've checked install and work fine on 9.01, (I have multiuser so license a new site and check them). It's either a mismatch between 9.01 and 9.03, or a problem with the 9.03 installation or my computer. I'll see what Actinic have to say.
