Moving The Final Checkout Process Into A Template

ok basicly on my website at the moment when you go through to the final checkout (where you enter your card details) its got the checkout applet but it isnt inside a template its on a white background. Is there a way to move that into my template with out corrupting the system, I thought I could just copy the applets code and paste it inside the template however my manager tells me that will corrupt the checkout process
    Kind Regards,
    Simon

are you referring to the Receipt Page?
(sincerely hoping you don't mean the java applet page )

The applet died a death around 4 years ago, i suggest you get up to date on payment methods, you are somewhat behind today's marketplace if you intend using that. It's not PCI compliant for starters, not forgetting how darn awful the bloody thing is. It only exists for legacy reasons, seriously stop using it.

ok I think I explained wrong I didnt mean an applet I meant the psp bounce page so (https://secure.actinicsecure.com/cgi-bin/sp000001.pl) at the moment on our site it is not in a template I was wondering if it was possible to change this
        Kind Regards,

No it is not, but processing via shared SSL (looks like that to me) is also dead, so advice still stands on modernising how you take payments.

Actinic Payments is its new big brother, getting some good reviews.

and, ftr, I'm fairly sure that, as that is a page hosted on Actinic, it can't be customised.
I'm sure someone from Actinic has confirmed that in the past

You're right Tracey, that was my 'no it is not' start lol. It's not entirely true actually cos the shared SSL used to take its background color from the theme config, so technically it was adjustable, albeit just a colour. You used to have to do the blockif from hell to change it back.
