Then get a robots.txt file blocking all robots on websitehome.co.uk! When you publish ilcmediadirect on the namesake domain, search engines come along and go "hey, look at this, this guy has copied all of websitehome.co.uk's site, let's toss this new site (ilc) out of our search results!"

Can you confirm that this just happens on the same price products? Are all products included into this offer as I couldn't seem to get any to take up the discount.
That's part of the problem, the same thing doesn't happen every time I test it, there's no consistency. I can add differently priced items and get different results each time! So for you there is no offer appearing for you no matter what you put into the cart?

Block the spiders then Chris, otherwise you will end up with a load of results that need reversing, the site is currently getting spidered.

Thanks very much for the tip there guys, is there anywhere I can get this robots.txt file, and where/what do I do with it when I get it?

And do we have any idea what on earth is going on with my offer!? I find it very odd that it is working for some and not others, and that it works for me on some occasions but not others.

If the error was consistent i.e. that equally priced products where not being included in to the buy one get one free offer, that i could understand if not solve, but I am increasingly thinking that there is some kind of bug here...

      Thanks for the help

Create a text file and name it robots.txt

Place the following in the text file:

        User-agent: *
        Disallow: /

Save the file and upload it to the root of your server (websitehome.co.uk) - ie. the folder 'up' from the 'acatalog' folder - where your index.html file is on the server.

If that's the case, then you will have to contact support and raise a support ticket (via website, if you're not a Cover subscriber. Via phone, if you are.)
Get them to look at it and see if they can spot the problem.

No probs. Forgot to mention, you should be able to navigate to www.domain.com/robots.txt and should be able to see the contents of the text file, if not, you'll probably get a 404 error, as the robots.txt file is not in the correct location.

              --EDIT--

Ensure when you update your DNS records and upload to the live server (for your official site) that the robots.txt file is not transferred. Stupid point I know, but it's always one of those silly things that tend to happen.

This has been relayed to Actinic support, who have requested a snapshot to workout 'why the software is doing this.' So it appears we have definitely stumbled upon a bug!

I will post any developments as they unfold.

                    Thanks for the help guys
