I am beginning to find most of these problems are caused by the connection itself. I recommend you try a dial up connection to see if it completes.

I have an ongoing fault with my broadband and had bt engineers onsite the last two days. It is an intermitant fault and they cant fix it, now they are going to keep changing stuff to see if it goes away.

This reached crisis point the other wek when it screwed up the scripts on upload and i could not get a good upload for hours, in the end i did it by dial up. Actinic kept crashing with ftp timeouts on my broadband.

Remembering the road to Actinic enlightenment is a long and sometimes painful one.
