The site is hosted by easyspace and I keep getting an error message when it tries to send mail can anyone help?
I've tried all the obvious like changing it to localhost but nothing seems to work, have tried their technical department who say it's a software issue an I've tried actinic technical who tell me it's the hosts issue...

Nothing has changed, we are just setting it up. It's a valid email address not an alias, we've run a network setup test and get the following result,
Actinic Mail Test completed successfully
server: passed
connection: failed
sockets: passed
communications: failed
authorisation: failed
message: Connection refused
We've tried localhost with no user name and password, and tried valid default email address that is web mail accessible which we can access so we know the user name and password are correct. We've used the control panel smtp details and all variations that have been given by easyspace to set up email in outlook, and have now run out of ideas.
Apart from moving from easyspace is there anything else we can try?
