Resurrecting this old thread to make a report!
Having upgraded our order processing machine to Windows 7, I am now fully able to both export and snapshot AND import a snapshot, both with HUGELY increased speed from the rare times they did work before (on Vista)
I've noticed big increases in processing times in Actinic in general on Windows 7. Completing orders takes a fraction of the time to print invoices and now snapshots not only WORK but are super-fast too!
Haven't upgraded the design machine yet as it's on XP (and, quite frankly, I can't be bothered!) but it's definitely been worth it on the Vista machine due to the time it saves me now!
Can't help thinking that it's a clash between Vista and Actinic causing the delays, rather than just Actinic (V9.0.5, in this case but has been the same all through V9)TraceyComment
