Hello all,
I am gathering tips for improving performance in Actinic v9. For example, in
Actinic when you click between sections in the content tree in Actinic can
sometimes take 20 seconds for Actinic to complete the task. A common
solution to this may be one of KB articles:
http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=44629 or
http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=45327
Examples of other performance issues I am interested in:
-Site takes a long time to open
-Slow upload of site
- Slow response on opening tabs due to large number of orders in the database
- Performance of the web site or checkout is slow
-Clicking between sections in Actinic takes a long time
-General Windows XP or Vista performance tips.
Requests:
1) Please could everybody respond to this thread with any performance improving tips you may have?
2) If you have any specific performance issues with Actinic v9, please contact me as I would like to investigate it and see what we can do to improve your sites performance in the short and long term.
My email address is: pmsupport [@] actinic.co.uk
Thanks for your assistance.
