Payment radio buttons with Teclan's single page checkout

We have Teclan's single page checkout plugin running on Actinic V9.0.4.0.0.0.JFJA and we're keen to add a second payment method (PayPal) to go alongside the ever unreliable SagePay.
As many others before me, I strongly prefer a clickable image (don't believe that's possible) or radio buttons with images adjacent over the standard drop-down list.
I've followed the instructions in the knowledge base article (http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=45508) precisly but unfortunately, whichever method I select, once I click next, the user is always taken through to PayPal.

I can only assume this is a plugin issue. Teclan weren't interested in helping, anyone got any ideas?

Here is a section of my site where you can add a product to the cart and navigate through the checkout...

My money is on you not having done the changes correctly for what it is worth. I don't see those changes effecting the plugin, 9/10 times it is you not doing it correctly in these situations. Go through the changes in reverse order.

Hi Lee, thanks for the reply but I put in the word precisely (albeit spelt wrongly!) as I too was sure this was the problem at first but I have since double, triple and quadruple checked that I have not any mistakes in transposing the data.

Even after you say that, 9/10 times it is still something you have not done right, just not seeing it, but i take your point if you are that sure. If Teclan cannot help i think your only sensible option is to remove the single page checkout and see if it works then, i've used that code myself and can confirm it does work if that helps. At least you can narrow it down that way and have the choice to ask Teclan to confirm whether it can work with the mod or remove the mod. I'd also be on 9.0.5 to ensure i'm on latest most trouble free version if i were you.

          Hi James,
This issue should be unrelated to the plugin. The payment options, and their functionality (i.e. where they post to) are separate from the Single-page functionality.
The plugin should simply pass the corresponding values for the payment methods directly to the Actinic scripts.

You should certainly be able to replace the radio buttons for images in the checkout.

Regarding this particular plugin - development was ceased on it due to the new checkout process in V10.
I'm sorry you felt that we are not interested in helping. This is not the case, however there are occasions when we have to halt future development work and remove a product from sale. This is one of these occasions.

As Lee said, you could try without the plugin to test it is working, however I think this is more to do with the Mod than the plugin.

I'll have a look further and see if there is anything further I might be able to add to this issue for you just now.

Thank you both, I did not realise there was a V9.0.5 as we install from CD and I don't recall seeing any upgrade options throughout the installation process.
I'll try a fresh install running 9.0.5. with a default theme and the plugin and see where that gets me.
