    Receipt Page Freezing

    Hi
    Customers have been contacting us recently to say that the receipt page has frozen and they are not receiving email order acknowledgements (having made payments through either Sellerdeck Payments or Paypal). I have scoured the forums and found quite a few threads suggesting different reasons and possible solutions to this issue, but none of which seem to apply in this case (other versions or hosts etc).
    Occasionally we receive duplicate orders as well.
    Has anyone else come across this in V9?

    Found a solution?

    It appears that the Done button on the receipt page is simply not finding the os page it is looking for (don't know why because the pathway has not been changed). So have changed destination url instead.
    Not sure if this will make any change to how order statistics are monitored, but at least customers don't think we've left them high and dry.

      sellerdeck triggers the customer email when they return to the orderscript generated receipt page so sending them somewhere else won't fix the problem.

      The best thing to do is to place a test order and see what the url of the receipt page is that isn't responding. then we can maybe help you identify the problem and fix it.

      Or did I misunderstand? if they're reaching the receipt page then the email should be sent. it might be an email problem as this could freeze the script until the email gets sent. best check in your error log file to see what clues that might hold.
