    Deleted orders

We have been collecting large numbers of deleted orders that we don't purge in case a question arises about one.

How can they be moved to another tab so they don't clutter the incoming order page?

    Or is that v7?

Cancel each of the products in the order (they can always be uncancelled later if you need to) and the order will move to completed.

Good idea to cancel but beware - if you are using stock monitoring the items in the order will be put back into stock when you cancel the item - which would probably be correct if you did this when you cancelled the order in the first place but might not be correct now.

If Catalog is purged are we still able to view all the completed orders?

          Hi Andrew,

Once you have purged orders in Actinic, they are permanently deleted and you can't access them anymore. All you can do is take a snapshot before you purge and then reload it in an emergency or we have products that allow you to export the data entry report to a file on your disk which you can then use to see the order details if necessary.

            Moving cancelled orders to completed

I have undeleted all of the dead orders, and then opened each order, cancelled each and every line item and then re-deleted the entire order.

The order's do not leave the pending page for completed, but stay there with an X through them. The only way to get rid of them is to purge - something I don't want to do.

            Suggestions?

Don't delete the order itself. All that does is mark it to be deleted when you do a purge.

They should have moved to completed when you cancelled the items. Something you could try is to select the orders and then export them.

                Exporting

Exporting worked fine and just got them out of the way. Thanks for the workaround.
