    Hi there

I've had a chat with Kiran in support this morning and we have got a few more things to try which might be causing the problem. We think it may be to do with your server assigning an incorrect ownership to the 'session' files on the server when they are created by the Perl scripts. Basically, the Perl scripts can create the session files but cannot modify them - hence you get an error when you try and add to the cart.

Kiran will be in touch with more details.

Hi, ok thanks for the update, will be nice to get it running with version 7 but for the meantime I am just glad to have our ecommerce site back up and running as we lost 2 days of business

Don't forget that using the 'Test Mode' feature of Actinic v7 you can test a v7 site without affecting the operation of your current one.

Go to 'Web | Switch to Test Mode' in v7 and then update the site.
