    Shipping error

    One of our customers in Japan has been unable to order since the shop tells her that the order is over the weight limit set out in the system.

    I thought she may have made a mistake so I tried it myself. Yep, in red letters it tells me the order is over the weight set in the shipping rates for Japan.

    Wrong.

    I have set the air mail rates up to 1.00Kg for non UK and EU countires, and this order is 0.68Kg.

    So what has caused this to happen??

    Hi,

    Can you tell me what item the customer has ordered. I have just tried Cargo Area Trays - £40.00 1 - Model: 245 1985-93 (3529469N) and it went through ok when selecting Japan as the country (although the cost didn't show up in the cart).

      The reason it didn't happen for this item is that it is shown as 0Kg weight linked to a shipping amount of £0.00. This is one of a number of lines that we run this way.

      Run this order:

      Badges:

      Item 02 Car Badge - 2 req (.16Kg each)
      Item 04 Swedish Car Badge - 2 req (.10Kg each)

      Misc:

      Item 24 Window sticker - 1 req (.01Kg each)

      The weight of each item is in brackets.

            It worked OK, most strange, since it didn't work for me nor the customer first time.

            I wonder if this is linked to spurious errors being looked at on support ticket 00041419, for which I have not heard anything yet.
