    excessive payment received

    I received an order that I decided was fraudulent. So I refunded the full amount through Worldpay. Then in Actinic I cancelled the line item as I understand this is how you cancel an order. However, while the order has now moved from Pending to Completed, it is now showing as "Excessive Payment Received".
    Despite reading previous threads on this, I am unclear what I should do to let the software know I do not have the money. Any suggestions?

    Try going into payments for the order, view payments, and then delete the payment.

      Go to the order. Cancel the line item (as you have done already). Click on Progress and Payments, then View Payments, then New Entry.
      This will add a credit card credit for the total amount of the order. (i.e money sent back).
      Click on Okay and Close. Then the order will show £0.00 money received and move to the completed list.
