Hi All
HELP!
I've been uploading the website to the host very successfully for a long time without problems, using dialup. However, I've just upgraded to broadband and am now having some difficulties. It gets as far as uploading the .cat files, send about 20 or so OK, then on one of them (it seems to be a different one each time) it bombs out and throws up an error message which says "The connection with the server was reset". Clicking on "OK" generates a window which says that an error occurred whilst trying to write to "acatalog" on the website, probably die to permissions problems, but possibly lack of disk space. One is offered a retry option, which always fails. A further error message suggests that the acatalog directory be checked manually before continuing.
I've looked at acatalog (I assume this means the one on the website) using an FTP package and can see nothing wrong (not sure quite what I should be looking for here) and there is approc 250MB of spare disk space - not a huge amount, but I would have thought sufficient.
The problem is clearly coincident with the move to broadband.
Help! I can't update my website....
