Many thanks for your help. I will be on the phone with them tommorow. On Friday I was told there were no problems and the issue was at my end. I will put my trace information infront of them.

This is not good news but I think ?!? I would prefer it to be a problem with claranet rather then on my system. At least I can cut claranet loose.

The frontend seems okay though - that is one good thing.

I just noticed something - their router gs-cr1-ge-0-1-1077.router.uk.clara.net [195.8.68.106] handles the data TWICE - I think they have a routing issue inside their network - why would they setup the traffic to forward back to their own router before forwarding it on... another 0.153 of a second in the loop which you just don't need...
