    Snapshot Export Problem

    When i try to perform my daily Snapshot Export for Back-Up purposes, I get an Actinic Error Message that Actinic needs to close - any ideas?

    I'm using Actinic Developer - 7.0.3.0.0.0.FBIA

    guessing a bit here! Have you defined your back up settings from within housekeeping | backup options and ensure the path exists? Does it do for all of your sites?

      Morning Jenny

      It only happens on one of my sites www.apartyshop.co.uk

      I've never defined any back up settings as it's always worked fine.

      ?

        still guesssing here.. have you tried to compact your database Housekeeping | compact database | catalog. This quite often resolves problems

              I unticked the box and still no joy.

              It's weird because it's not a 'usual' Actinic error but one that starts;

              "Catalog - Internet Sales Application has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

                      I've been getting the same problem on a regular but seemingly random basis.

                      The only time it seems to be predictable is that it always fails when I need to be quick taking a copy!.

                      Having read this I thought that must be it, but I've just done a snapshot whilst on a fragment and it worked fine.

                      I'll try making sure I'm not in a fragment next time it plays up.
